What is GPRS Setting?

GPRS is short form of General Packet Radio Service. It is wireless information service to transfer data and information across a mobile phone network. In simple words, GPRS allows to access internet using mobile phone.

Information technology is used for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G Internet Information service to access Cyberspace on mobile telephone. It is too needed for multi-media messaging or MMS and various applications.

  1. Go To Settings > Mobile Network > Network Fashion
  2. Gear up it to LTE only OR Select LTE/GSM/WCDMA (Auto Connect Mode)
  3. Select APN > Jio 4G
  4. Now Enter Following Setting:
  • Proper noun – Jio 4G (You can Mention any Name of your Choice)
  • APN – jionet
  • Proxy – Not set
  • Port – Non set
  • Username – Non gear up
  • Countersign – Not set up
  • Server – Not set (you can use world wide web.google.com or whatsoever other website)
  • MMSC – Not set
  • MMS Proxy – Non set
  • MCC, MNC – Don't Change. Leave to Default
  • Hallmark Type – Non set
  • APN Protocol – IPv6 OR IPv4
  • Enable/Disable APN – Don't Change. Leave to Default
  • Bearer – Don't Change. Leave to Default OR Change it to LTE
  • Mobile Virtual Network Operator Type – None

To get Airtel Settings by SMS –

SMS – AIRTEL ALL to 543210 or ALL to 52567

There are 3 different settings for Airtel –

  1. Airtel Live
  2. Mobile Part
  3. Internet on Phone (NOP)

Airtel Live Setting

  • Account Name – Airtel_live

  • Password – Go out Blank
  • Proxy – Enabled / Yes
  • Proxy and Server Address – 100.1.200.99

  • Authentication Type – Normal

Airtel Mobile Office Setting
